FIRST FEDERAL ENHANCES LOCAL PRESENCE WITH ADDITION OF COMMERCIAL LENDER FOR STARK COUNTY AND LEADERSHIP TRANSITION IN BERLIN
Dover, OH – First Federal Community Bank recently announced key personnel moves that enhance its commercial lending capabilities in Stark County while strengthening financial center leadership across its expanding footprint.
Commercial Lending Expansion
The bank welcomes Daniel Bryan as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer for Stark County, based at the newly opened Canton financial center on Fulton Drive NW in Jackson Township. Dan brings more than 25 years of commercial banking experience serving Stark and surrounding counties to his new role.
A lifelong Stark County resident, Dan holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Kent State University and Malone University, respectively. His community involvement includes serving on the Board of Trustees for the Boys and Girls Club of Massillon and volunteering with the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards selection committee. He is also a graduate of Leadership Stark County. Dan and his wife Kim reside in Jackson Township.
Financial Center Leadership Changes
With the opening of the Canton financial center, Jim Marks has transitioned to financial center manager for the new location, while Carrie Ruegsegger has been promoted to financial center manager in Berlin.
Marks joined First Federal Community Bank in 2021, bringing 25 years of experience with community and regional banking institutions. The Stark County native has been active with numerous organizations including the New Philadelphia Business and Community Association, New Philadelphia Rotary, and Holmes County Chamber of Commerce. He currently participates in both the Massillon WestStark and Canton Regional Chambers of Commerce. Jim resides in Jackson Township.
Ruegsegger joined First Federal in 2023, most recently serving as Senior Financial Service Representative. A Dover High School graduate, she resides in Dover with her husband Bill and children Billy and Elsie. Beyond her financial center duties, Ruegsegger assists the bank's human resources department with employee occupational and mental wellness initiatives and volunteers as a coach for Dover Youth Cheer.
